GCV Sunday Pennant round 2

Another lovely day for golf this morning before the warmish afternoon heat arrived. Thanks this week to Belvoir Park, Bendigo and Heathcote for acting as hosts for round 2.

A bit of a grizzle from your Pennant Match Committee volunteers:

Generally, team sheets were neatly filled out today, but do please take care to fill out sheets correctly and also to make sure names are spelt correctly. There was one exception in Open division where both teams just entered their players first names! Really, it’s time consuming enough for our Match Committee to get the results out in a timely manner, so please make it as easy as you can and also scan through results as soon as the matches are completed, rather than having our committee members starting the results, then having to stop and wait for stragglers.

Most divisions are still wide open although a few undefeated teams have made a statement.

Division 1 – Bendigo are the only undefeated team, but with a draw today, the division is still wide open.

Division 2 – early statements from Castlemaine and Axedale who are both undefeated

Division 3 – Likewise in this division as Belvoir Park and Kyneton are both undefeated

Open A – Castlemaine and Belvoir Park Gold are undefeated and in Open B, Bendigo White are the only undefeated team.
