2026 GCV Sunday Pennant final round and ladders

What a perfect day for the final round Golf Central Victoria Sunday Pennant today.

Thanks to Bendigo who hosted Divisions 1 and 3, Axedale Division 2 and Belvoir Park the two Open divisions.

Thanks also to everyone from host clubs throughout the season as well as all players who have gotten out of bed early on Sunday mornings to make this season a very competitive and successful one. We look forward to some great contests next Sunday in the finals at Neangar Park. Just a reminder to all players that lunch will be provided with compliments from Golf Central Victoria and presentations will be held straight after the last match is decided, so please stay around for these as we celebrate another successful Sunday Pennant season

The finalists have been decided:

Division 1

Belvoir Park secured a place in the final with a 3.5/1.5 win over Castlemaine. Neangar Park also secured a finals berth with a 3-5/1.5 win over Bendigo Sports Academy, whilst Bendigo dropped out of the finals race due to a 3/2 loss against Axedale, missing a finals berth by just one contest.

Division 2

A 3-way battle saw Axedale with a 3/2 win today and Neangar Park Gold making it through to the final. Belvoir Park Green missed out on a finals spot by just one contest, despite a great win over NP Gold today.

Division 3

Kyneton had a comprehensive 4/1 victory over Belvoir Park to knock their opponents out of the finals race and although Bendigo White had a 3/2 loss to their Bendigo Blue teammates, they still made the final on games won, over Belvoir Park to earn the opportunity to take on Kyneton next week in the final.

Open A

Castlemaine had already secured their place in the final going through the first 4 rounds undefeated and Belvoir Park Gold had secured their berth as well. Both had good wins again, with 4/1 and 3.5/1.5 victories.

Open B

Bendigo White had also already secured their place in the final going through the first 4 rounds undefeated and continued that form today with a 4.5/1.5 victory whilst Belvoir Park Green who had also already secured their finals spot and had a good 3/2 win today.
